"THE CANDLE-MAKER"

Allow me to tell you something about myself, and how it started. Before I met my husband, I really didn't know what I wanted to do in life. I'd always loved the idea of having my own buisness, but didn't know where or how to begin.

When I met him, everything started to change. He has a very simple outlook on life itself, and he told me that " you can do anything you want to do if you use your heart as a guide". He showed me things that were always there but I just couldn't see them. Things that were within myself!

I'd somehow, spent to much time listening to the wrong people and believing them.There are plenty of negatives in life , but, being around the positive things of life will take a different turn . I had always loved the out-doors and nature, and was a creative person. I really enjoy taking the things that nature has given to us and making something creatively natural!

I'd always loved the art of " candle-making". So the more I studied the idea....... the more I was finding myself drawn to the art. My goal was to make a natural candle...so I gained interest into " soy". I made my choice with soy because it is a renewable resource and can be grown right here in the USA year after year!

Needless to say......... it took alot of trial and error and patience to get it right. But I can say that now I've created a good candle that is clean , soot-free, and long burning! I will always try different ways to improve. I want my candles to soothe, relax, or even energize you. I'm always coming up with ideas on things that I can dip or scent!

I find myself outdoors , at different times, and feeling like that little child on the easter-egg hunt........... can I dip this or scent that!! So be on the look-out......... no telling what 'll be availiable at " Sheila's Country Candles" next!!
